Resources for ministers
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship has a commitment to discovering, developing and nurturing ministry leaders.
Reference & Referral
Find a minister through CBF's Reference and Referral program, which helps connect your church with ministers seeking ministerial positions. Leader Connect-CBF is the résumé-matching service as a part of CBF's service.
Peer Learning Groups
Peer learning groups meet monthly to provide opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, study, discussion of ministry-related issues and fellowship among ministers.
CBF Fellows
The Fellows program provides resources to a cohort of ministers in their first two years of their first ministry experience.
Chaplaincy & Pastoral Counseling
If you are a member of a Baptist church and are preparing to serve as (or are already serving as) a chaplain or pastoral counselor, you might be interested in seeking endorsement from CBF.
Church Starts
Are you called to start a church? CBF's new church starts initiative provides resources for individuals and churches interested in spreading the Good News through a new church start in the United States.
The CBF Store
Need more information or resources about CBF? Check out the CBF Store, where you can order free resources about the Fellowship. There are also a number of online resources.
Retreats and Events
CBF offers spiritual formation retreats, narrative leadership retreats and other events for ministers and lay leaders to have a place of learning and renewal. The annual ChurchWorks Conference is held every February.
General Assembly
Attend CBF's annual General Assembly, a vital source for ministers seeking new resources, inspiration, connection with ministries and missions, and networking opportunities. The event is held in a different city each year.
E-newsletters
The Fellowship distributes several e-newsletters each month. Fellowship Weekly is distributed every Tuesday and includes information about CBF missions and ministries. ChurchWorks, designed for ministers and lay leaders, is distributed bi-weekly.
Current
Current is the Fellowship's network for young leaders (under 40). Each year, Current co-hosts the ChurchWorks Conferences, holds networking events at General Assembly and facilitates Service in September.
